Dissolved Oxygen sensors utilize fluorescence lifetime technology, which is based on the physics principle of specific substances quenching the active fluorescence. The significant advantages of this fluorescence method of measuring dissolved oxygen are that there is no oxygen consumption during the measurement process and therefore no flow rate limitation, as well as no need for preheating and no electrolyte, free from maintenance and frequent calibration, making the dissolved oxygen measurement more accurate, more stable, more rapid and more convenient.
